great news today from jonathan. seems we will be getting some mkting backstopping from a hotshit gal named allison ross who was at EA for a long time.
also seems that there might be a nice partnership in sight with a hotel related website to do a wine club. not sure how this works, but the genius of rossers and speedo will clarify all for me soon.
am meeting today with our branding people. excited to see what they've come up with so we can nail that down.
will meet with some of the pivotal people to discuss IA in the next couple days.

long weekend under the weather in a beautiful indian summer san francisco led to too much indoor activity (other than sleeping). made siginificant progress on the site IA and solved some interesting issues with respect to homepage navigation. the desire is to keep the majority of the activity restricted to very few pages yet not create confusing information problems on that page.
i also spent a bunch of time scanning old family photos and putting them on flickr. since my last remaining grandparent passed away a couple weeks ago, i've been thinking a lot about home and where i am living at this stage of my life. i love SF but don't get to the mountains enough. this is a wonderful memory of a fabulous trip in those precious Rockies (near aspen on the backside of the maroon bells)

hello and welcome to our new world.
who are we you ask? who am i to be writing a blog about our company, i ask. we are supervine and we are the new paradigm for wine discovery. (well thats a blowsy piece of crap isn't it?)
no seriously, we are here to change the conversion about wine, to open up the world of wine to those who have not heretofore been included in the larger dialogue between those who 'know' wine and those who don't (really know wine).
ok, so we are not the first. but, while the first may be breaking new territory, its frequently the next wave of people who perfect the approach. we want to build a place where our members can exchange information about wine and find relevance with others who think and feel the same way they do.
